5 to 6 hour tour.

 

Located just 35km north of Buenos Aires, the Tigre Delta is among the world’s largest deltas, and it is unique since it is the only one in the world that doesn’t flow directly into the ocean.

 

Before reaching Tigre City, we will pass by San Isidro, a beautiful colonial area.

 

Once we arrive to Tigre, we will take a boat * to spend one hour sailing the first section of islands of the delta. Local stilt houses, colonial mansions, supermarket boats, latte-coloured waters rich with iron and people kayaking and fishing.

 

After the boat trip we come back to main land to visit Tigre´s Craft Market to learn about the local production of furniture and crafts.

 

 

*tickets for the boat are not included in the price.The boat trip is on a large river boat shared with other tourists and local people.
